How much does it cost?
The cost varies considerably from piece to piece. Please contact our store for a bespoke quote.
How long does it take?
The lead time is 8 – 10 weeks (subject to change). Once you have confirmed your fabric choice, we will book a reupholstery slot with our factory. You won’t be without your product for more than two weeks.
Do SCP arrange collection and delivery?
Yes, we arrange both. A quote is provided upon request or when you place your order.
Do SCP replace the filling or frame?
We are confident in the durability of our upholstered products, and we offer a lifetime guarantee on all hardwood frames. Once the old fabric has been carefully removed, our upholstery experts will inspect the condition of the frame and filling. If repairs are required, we will carry them out free of charge.
Can SCP replace existing foam with natural materials?
All of our upholstery now uses natural materials instead of foam. For SCP upholstered products made prior to this update, any foam that needs replacing will be substituted with new foam, unless requested otherwise. If you would like to replace the existing foam in your upholstered product with natural materials, we can offer a full replacement service. Please contact our store for a bespoke quote.
Do you replace the cushions?
We do not replace the cushions as part of this service. If you would like them replaced, please let us know.

Which fabric suppliers do SCP offer?
We work with many fabric and leather suppliers, including Bute, Kvadrat, Designers Guild, Olicana, Sorensen, Camira, Elmo, Gabriel, Maharam, Romo, Kirkby, Villa Nova, Zinc Textile, Mark Alexander, Black Edition, Svensson and Stolz.
Can I supply my own fabric?
Yes, you’re welcome to supply your own fabric, provided it meets UK fire regulations, is certified by the supplier and is approved by our specialist upholstery factory. A sample may need to be provided for confirmation.
Do SCP reupholster non-SCP products?
We occasionally take on reupholstery jobs for products that we did not originally manufacture. Please contact our store for more information.
