“My neighbour gave me an old tractor seat and I found the spring in a field. The timber is sequoia, the round thing an old lamp base – good for ballast.”

“Sequoia base, turned, scorched and scrubbed to reveal lovely grain. Will have to wait until the end of lockdown for a lick of paint.”

“I’ve also been messing about with sticks but they’ve been side-lined at the moment.”

“I’m supposed to be clearing out old junk, which miraculously becomes treasure depending on the mood and circumstances! Having a workshop during this crisis has been such a luxury, as is the time to play.”
