A mid-century classic, the Bubble Lamp was first designed by George Nelson in 1947 and was produced by Howard Miller starting in the early 1950s and ending in 1979. The lights have been reissued by Modernica to the original specifications, using the original Howard Miller tooling. These famous lamps are part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York.

Part of the SCP 2009 collection. The Cedric desk is an exercise in simplicity, refinement and deft detailing. Ex-display Missed daybed by Michael Marriott for SCP Classics

Missed is a piece for those at leisure in the day. The rectangular head cushion is hand-made and feather filled. It is attached to the bed by a leather strap with a velcro pad, which can be adjusted for position on the underside. Uncomplicated, coherent and in part homage to the daybed by Mies van der Rohe, Missed is a kind of modesty, made modern.  Now £2587.00 – Was £3695.00.

Ex-display Lektor table lamp by Niclas Hoflin for Rubn

Rubn lighting is produced in Sweden by skilled craftsmen with a focus on sustainability. They have been manufacturing lighting in the same factory since 1950. The Lektor table light is simple yet elegant, made from iron and brass and is supplied with the latest LED COB light source. Available in white or black. Now £365.00 – Was £255.50.

Colour marvel Donna Wilson has designed Motley, a deep-buttoned Chesterfield inspired footstool. Motley is upholstered in hand knitted wool specially designed by Donna Wilson in a Rainbow colour way fabric. Now £1911.00 – Was £2730.00.

End of line Vessel pendant light by Samuel Wilkinson for Decode

Vessel consists of blown glass forms designed specifically to celebrate the Plumen 001 bulb. Inspired by a “ship in a bottle”, the lamp ornamentally sits within the shade. When illuminated the glass tint mutes the light without hiding the form and produces an unexpected irregular reflection that appears holographic. Now £132.50 – Was £265.00.
