A big congratulations to SCP designer, Lucy Kurrein, who has be crowned Homes & Gardens Young Designer of the year at their annual award ceremony.

After working for some of Britain’s most celebrated designers, including Matthew Hilton and PearsonLloyd, Kurrein set up her own studio in March 2013. With a commitment to delivering sophisticated, elegant, and timeless products, Lucy combines the rigour of industrial design with an understanding of the aesthetic and practical qualities required in furniture.

In September 2013, SCP launched the Lincoln sofa and Lily side table, both designed by Kurrein. This was closely followed by the super-comfortable Elmer sofa in 2014.
