Project Information

Client: Central Working Whitechapel
Interior: Paul Crofts Studio & Born Design
Location: London
Date: March 2014

Located in Shoreditch’s Silicon Roundabout, Central Working is a company that rents out stylish desk space to growing businesses. Offering much more than your average hot desking company, Central Working’s welcoming office spaces are designed to encourage collaboration and interaction.

With one club already in operation in Bloomsbury, the brand wanted their Shoreditch outpost to reflect the character of the local area while also communicating their core values. With this in mind, Paul Crofts Studio and Born Design worked with SCP Contracts to select furnishings with warmth, colour and character.

Quiet and contemplative pieces such as SCP’s graceful Coltrane table by Terence Woodgate are complimented by accents of vibrant colour as seen on Faudet-Harrison’s green Kenneth sofa.

In the boardrooom, Spanish brand Viccarbe’s poised Maarten chair by Victor Carrasco and Hay’s sleek Table Twelve are a perfect pairing, while SCP’s Boundary 300 pendant lamp by Faudet-Harrison provides ambience.
