This September SCP launch the new Autumn | Winter collection at Maison & Objet in Paris.
SCP welcome new designers to the fold, including American illustrator Mark McGinnis with ceramic collections, Megatropolis and Alphabet. Stoke-On-Trent-based ceramicist Reiko Kaneko has created the bone china Adderley Works pendant light while emerging UK designer Lucy Kurrein has designed the Lincoln sofa and the Lily coffee and side table.
New products by Donna Wilson include the This Way That bean bag and Field Day; a range of throws and cushions made from 100% wool in vibrant colour ways. As well as Blocks & Peaks; a collection of woven baskets, bowls, placemats and vases specially made in collaboration between Donna Wilson and People of the Sun; a non-profit social enterprise based in Malawi. Also launching are designs from Sarah Kay, Alex Hellum, Faudet-Harrison, Terence Woodgate, Andrea Stemmer and Peter Marigold.
The 2013 editions of the Woodgate sofa system and Parallel shelving system by Terence Woodgate will also be on display. Originally designed in the mid-90s these are the first SCP products to be revisited, providing a unique opportunity to update these classic designs with modern manufacturing technology.
