It is with great sadness that we announce that British designer James Irvine passed away last weekend at the Fatebenefratelli hospital in Milan.
A much loved member of SCP’s early years, he was an exceptionally talented designer, a very funny man and at the vanguard of changing European attitudes towards British design and designers, particularly in Milan where he based his design studio for the last 30 years. Here we present some pictures taken over the years by SCP founder and owner Sheridan Coakley.

Our sincere condolences go out to James’ family and friends, thanks for the memories, the jokes and the inspiration. We will miss you James.
